Volleyball Game Preview: St. Augustine Catholic Wolves vs. Palo Verde Titans

St. Augustine Catholic is a perfect 4-0 against Palo Verde since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Palo Verde took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Augustine Catholic, who comes in off a win.

St. Augustine Catholic played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Andrada Polytechnic by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Palo Verde came up short against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Palo Verde ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.

St. Augustine Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Palo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything went St. Augustine Catholic's way against Palo Verde when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as St. Augustine Catholic made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
