Top Thanksgiving Day rivalries

English High and Boston Latin meet in oldest continuing rivalry in the country.


Boston English/New Mission (Boston, Mass.) vs. Boston Latin (Boston, Mass.) 
- Described as the oldest continuing rivalry, English High and Boston Latin have played every year since 1887. The two teams will play in the 124th meeting this year. Boston Latin holds the overall edge 74-36-13 and has won 44 of the last 46 games. Results.

Northeast (Philadelphia, Pa.) vs.Central (Philadelphia, Pa.)
- This game bills itself as the oldest rivalry in the nation. The two teams play for a wooden horse and have met since 1892. Northeast leads the all-time series 53-51-10. Results.

Ansonia (Ansonia, Conn.) vs. Naugatuck (Naugatuck, Conn.)
- This Connecticut match-up has been played since 1900 with Ansonia leading the series 64-36-10 including 22 of the last 24 outings. Results.

San Francisco Turkey Day Game - City Championship
