Adams won the last time they faced West Mesquite and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Adams Cougars' way against the West Mesquite Wranglers as the Adams Cougars made off with a 5-1 victory. Considering the Cougars have won six games by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit West Mesquite with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michelle Anaya (2), Luz Moreno, Jaylene Bosquez, and Citlali Rivera.

The win made it two in a row for Adams and bumps their season record up to 8-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-12 West Mesquite and 2-8 Spruce. As for West Mesquite, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adams will take on Seagoville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Mesquite, they will face off against Spruce at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. West Mesquite is facing Spruce at the right time seeing as Spruce is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
