Basketball Recap: Fort Hamilton Comes Up Short

Fort Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-15 loss at the hands of the Lincoln Railsplitters. The Tigers lost against the Railsplitters in their previous head to head back in February of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-44 score last time.

Fort Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lincoln, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Fort Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-23 victory against Dewey on the 17th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-2 win against Roosevelt on the 17th.
