Softball Game Preview: Oscar Smith Tigers vs. King's Fork Bulldogs

Oscar Smith is 1-9 against King's Fork since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 5:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oscar Smith is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 14-3 to Nansemond River.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for King's Fork's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-0 to Grassfield, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Oscar Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for King's Fork, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.
