Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tulelake). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Dunsmuir Tigers 73-46. The win was some much needed relief for the Honkers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Kellar, who posted 16 points. That was a full 34.8% of Dunsmuir's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Gilbert Loza was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Tulelake's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Tulelake will face off against Hayfork at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunsmuir, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chester at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
