Baseball Recap: A-D-M Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when A-D-M and Winterset meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Tigers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

A-D-M has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Winterset, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

A-D-M has already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against North Polk on the 12th. As for Winterset, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Carroll on the 12th.
