Berkeley is 8-1-1 against Piedmont since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Berkeley Yellowjackets will head out on the road to  square off against  the Piedmont Highlanders  at 7:30  p.m. Berkeley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3  goals per game  this season.
Piedmont will be up against a hot Berkeley  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to three. Berkeley put the hurt on Arroyo with a sharp  7-0 win on Wednesday. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage  in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings  (they are ranked 80th, while the Dons are ranked 356th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
Berkeley's offense was hitting Arroyo from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.  Alfredo Munoz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
 Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Piedmont was forced to settle for a  draw on Wednesday. They and San Leandro finished up on equal footing with  a  1-1 draw.
 Berkeley pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one  goal over those three  contests. Piedmont's  draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-4.
