Volleyball Recap: Southern Academy Comes Up Short

Southern Academy lost against Tuscaloosa Home Educators back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Southern Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (105-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25, 21-25, 15-25, 15-10.

Southern Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-1-1.

Southern Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they will square off against Evangel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
