Softball Recap: Bowsher Takes a Loss

Bowsher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-6 to the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the BlueRacers' highest-scoring match to date.

Bowsher saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Wisbon, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Bowsher's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cardinal Stritch, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Bowsher will be playing at home against Fostoria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.5 runs per game on average), something the BlueRacers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cardinal Stritch, they will challenge Ottawa Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
