Game recap: Melbourne High School Football Team defeats Viera

VIERA, Fla. - Melbourne (Fla.) saw its 11-point lead shrink to 10, but hung on to defeat Viera (Fla.) 20-10 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Bulldogs led 14-7 at the half.

Melbourne saw its 7-point halftime lead decrease to four entering the fourth.

Viera's lone touchdown came on a run by Cody Dentmon in the first quarter.



MHS came into the game allowing 9.5 points per game.

The loss comes after Viera defeated Atlantic 17-16 last week. The win brought Melbourne's winning streak to four games.
