Volleyball Recap: Knob Noster Comes Up Short

Knob Noster saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Battle Spartans. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rylee Okaoniewski paced Knob Noster's offense, picking up three kills. Okaoniewski got some help from Tinlee Jones and her five assists.

Ellie Boyer was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and two aces.

Knob Noster's loss dropped their record down to 10-14-2. As for Battle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-13-1.

Knob Noster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Willard on the 11th. As for Battle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against West Plains on the 11th.
