Basketball Recap: Texas Takes a Loss

Texas was the 47-40 winner over Whitehouse when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Texas Tigers took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitehouse Wildcats on Friday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Texas' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Whitehouse, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Texas will be playing in front of their home fans against Nacogdoches at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitehouse, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Whitehouse Wildcats duke it out with the Mt. Pleasant Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
