Flag Football Recap: Jaiden Alexander and Madalyn Custer Pace Mesa Verde Defense

Mesa Verde fell victim to Foresthill and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildfires. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildfires this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-6 back in September.

Mesa Verde didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaiden Alexander and Madalyn Custer.

Mesa Verde's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Foresthill, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Mesa Verde does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foresthill, they are taking a road trip to take on Leroy Greene Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
