Football Recap: Wilson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wilson lost against Hatton back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a hard 46-27 fall against the Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Hornets are ranked 106th).

Savarius Evans continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hatton, rushing for 251 yards and four scores while picking up 13.2 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Evans a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tasean Love, who rushed for 71 yards and one TD on only six carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Wilson and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Hatton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hatton, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-19 loss against Madison Academy on the 7th.
