Baseball Recap: San Lorenzo Valley Takes a Loss

San Lorenzo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Santa Cruz Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

Jaden Shabry made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brody Egner, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

San Lorenzo Valley's record is now 3-19. As for Santa Cruz, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Coming up, San Lorenzo Valley will head out to take on Everett Alvarez at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Cruz will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' game: after the Cougars face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Santa Cruz again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
