Volleyball Recap: East Triumphs

East won the last time they faced Rawlins and things went their way on Saturday too. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Outlaws by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Taylor Nelson paced East's offense, picking up seven kills. Nelson got some help from Charli Cameron and her 11 assists. Madi Jackson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

East now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Rawlins, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Worland on the 27th. As for Rawlins, they will face off against Lander Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
