St. John entered their tilt with Chase on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Kats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. John was: they took both sets by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-5.

Gentri Bright paced St. John's offense, picking up six kills. Bright really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Lillian Brummer controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

St. John's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Chase, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-25.

St. John didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Central Plains on the 11th. As for Chase, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Victoria on the 11th.
