It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but St. Anthony ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shenendehowa High School, sneaking past 9-7. The win was familiar territory for the Friars, who have now won seven contests in a row.
Violet Pryor was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Makayla Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
