Softball Game Preview: Rochester Rams vs. Carlynton Cougars

For the first time this season, Rochester will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Carlynton Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rochester has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rochester is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Freedom Area 25-15 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Carlynton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to Sewickley Academy. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

The victory got Rochester back to even at 2-2. As for Carlynton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
