Volleyball Recap: Dalton Beats Sonoraville for Their Fourth Straight Win

Dalton had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sonoraville Phoenix by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.

Karyme Smithey paced Dalton's offense, picking up seven kills. Smithey got some help from Anjalee Lemons and her ten assists. Andrea Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Sonoraville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Dalton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cedartown on the 6th. As for Sonoraville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Heritage on the 6th.
