Meanwhile, Kaukauna faced Notre Dame Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Galloping Ghosts skirted past the Tritons 3-2.

Kaukauna was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Kaukauna's victory bumped their record up to 21-16. As for Kimberly, their win bumped their record up to 25-9.
