Basketball Recap: Trinity Leadership Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Trinity Leadership won the last time they faced Seagoville, and Caron McGee did his part to make sure it happened again. The Trinity Leadership Tigers walked away with a 70-61 victory over the Seagoville Dragons on Saturday thanks in part to McGee, who posted 21 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last seven games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Goodwin, who had 11 points and eight rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Seagoville still got an impressive performance from Travion Hall, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 34.4% of Seagoville's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam West, who posted 16 points.

Trinity Leadership is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Seagoville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Trinity Leadership didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 100-36 win against A Plus Academy on the 3rd. As for Seagoville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-48 loss against West Mesquite on the 3rd.
