Baseball Recap: Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Comes Up Short

Garner-Hayfield/Ventura was the 7-4 winner over West Hancock when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 11-6 to the Eagles on Friday.

Garner-Hayfield/Ventura's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Hancock, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will be playing at home against Belmond-Klemme at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for West Hancock, they will challenge Osage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Green Devils will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
