Challenger came tearing into Monday's contest with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Christian Family Academy Fire 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Challenger was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Alondra Alonso and Kate Hightower, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Addison Jones and her eight assists. Hightower was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Christian Family Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyna Smith, who had five kills and two aces.

Challenger's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Christian Family Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Challenger does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Family Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy on the 7th.
