Basalt and Roaring Fork are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Longhorns will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Basalt is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Roaring Fork came out on top against Basalt on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Rams took their contest against the Longhorns 9-5.

Basalt's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Roaring Fork, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Basalt couldn't quite get it done against Roaring Fork when the teams last played on Wednesday as they fell 9-5. Can the Longhorns avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
