Soccer Recap: Albany Academy for Boys Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Albany Academy for Boys after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Schalmont Sabres by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Albany Academy for Boys of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Albany Academy for Boys' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Schalmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.
