Soccer Game Preview: Greenfield vs. Everett Alvarez

The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bruins came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Haybalers are ranked 701st).

Meanwhile, Everett Alvarez hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They never let Seaside onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Greenfield's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2-3. As for Everett Alvarez, their win bumped their record up to 8-0-1.
