Soccer Recap: Easley Comes Up Short

Easley fought the good fight in their overtime match against J.L. Mann on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Easley in their meetings with J.L. Mann: they've now lost six in a row.

Easley's goal came courtesy of Kevin Torres, which was the first he's scored this season.

Easley's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for J.L. Mann, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easley will head out to challenge Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for J.L. Mann, they will venture away from home to take on Christ Church Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christ Church Episcopal will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something J.L. Mann surely won't give up without a fight.
