Basketball Recap: Dunbar Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Dunbar, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 77-67 win over the East Lee County Jaguars on Wednesday. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 56-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dunbar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kristian Joseph, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamari Cobb, who posted 11 points along with six boards and five steals.

East Lee County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Joel Delgado, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 19 points. Branden Francois was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 14 boards.

Dunbar's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.
