Haskell proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Anson Tigers. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on five straight.

Paisley Chavez-Guevara was excellent, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Reagan Adkins also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Haskell's record is now 14-6. As for Anson, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Haskell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coahoma at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
