Basketball Recap: Lakes' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lakes won the last time they faced Round Lake and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lakes Eagles took down the Round Lake Panthers 49-30. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Round Lake, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Lakes is taking a road trip to square off against North Chicago at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Round Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grant Community at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
