Woodridge dropped their record down to 10-14 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 3-0 to the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Royals when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.

For Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's part, not much got past Nik Wirsching, who gave up just a hit to keep Woodridge off the board. Wirsching has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
