Hilltop Christian hasn't had much luck against Wilson Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, Hilltop Christian will head out on the road to face off against Wilson Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hilltop Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They secured a 42-37 W over Triad Baptist Christian Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Wilson Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They enjoyed a cozy 41-26 victory over the Vikings. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th in North Carolina, while the Vikings are ranked 384th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wilson Christian Academy pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points over those games. As for Hilltop Christian, their record now sits at 14-12.

Hilltop Christian came up short against Wilson Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 38-30. Can Hilltop Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
