Recap: Parkview Christian Patriots vs. Potter-Dix Coyotes
The Parkview Christian Patriots had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Potter-Dix 51-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Parkview Christian, who have now won seven contests by 32 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkview Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexander Rohrbaugh, who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards. Rohrbaugh really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run. Brayden Bayliss was in the mix too, providing Parkview Christian with three touchdowns.
The victory (which was Parkview Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Potter-Dix, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-1.
Parkview Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Hay Springs at 1:30 p.m. on November 10th. Hay Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Parkview Christian likes a good challenge. Potter-Dix does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
