Volleyball Recap: Blackman Blaze vs. Cookeville Cavaliers
Blackman lost to Cookeville back in September of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Blackman Blaze sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Cookeville Cavaliers.
Blackman was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-100), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 27-25, 25-21, 12-25, 15-11.
Annabelle Grissom had an outrageously good game as she had 25 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2023.
