Basketball Recap: St. Paul's Find Success

On Friday, the St. Paul's Crusaders escaped with a win against the Episcopal Maroon by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Crusaders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 65th in Maryland, while the Maroon are ranked 14th in Virginia).

The win made it two in a row for St. Paul's and bumps their season record up to 3-3. As for Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

St. Paul's won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Boys Latin at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Episcopal, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against McDonogh at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
