After a string of nine wins, Withrow's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 8-5 to the Finneytown Wildcats.

Withrow's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Finneytown, they moved to 3-11 with that victory, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Withrow will challenge Western Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. As for Finneytown, they will head out to challenge Reading at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
