Volleyball Recap: Felicity-Franklin Cardinals vs. East Clinton Astros
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Felicity-Franklin and East Clinton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Cardinals came up short against the Astros on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Astros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.
While Felicity-Franklin was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into East Clinton's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 26-24.
Leading East Clinton to victory were Kenzi Terrell and Taylynn Spurlock. Terrell had ten digs, while Spurlock had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Spurlock has posted over her last six matches.
