After a string of four wins, DSST: Green Valley Ranch's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets. The Raptors were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While DSST: Green Valley Ranch ultimately came up short, they really made DSST: Conservatory Green work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 29-27, 25-11.

Jerzey Jacobus paced DSST: Green Valley Ranch's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jacobus got some help from Mariam Qasemi and her 16 assists. Jacobus also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allie Everingham, each putting up three.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch now has a losing record of 7-8. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.
