Basketball Preview: Oak Glen Golden Bears vs. Beaver Beavers
Oak Glen and the Beavers are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Oak Glen Golden Bears will be playing at home against the Beaver Beavers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Tuesday, Oak Glen was beaten by the Red Knights 62-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Oak Glen has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Alex Dennis, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Evans, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-54, which was the final score in Beaver's tilt against the Lions on Tuesday.
Oak Glen's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
