If Liberty was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Montcalm on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Wyoming East Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Liberty started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-10, 15-12.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9-3. As for Wyoming East, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Wyoming East will both be playing Independence the next time they take the court. The Raiders will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
