Monticello barely beat Louisa County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Monticello this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Monticello, bringing their record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Louisa County, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Monticello will host Charlottesville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Louisa County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fluvanna County at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
