Genoa-Kingston waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lutheran Crusaders a 7-0 shutout. Considering Genoa-Kingston have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lutheran with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Samantha Wendt (3), Ally Poegel (2), Jaida Modesto, and Ayva Hernandez.

Genoa-Kingston pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those eight games. As for Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
