Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Fighting Irish vs. Esperanza Aztecs

After both having extra time off, the Kennedy Fighting Irish and the Esperanza Aztecs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Kennedy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Vista Murrieta by a score of 3-1.

While Kennedy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Vista Murrieta scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Esperanza waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Panthers.

Esperanza's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Kennedy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10.
