Soccer Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Lafayette Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster Academy Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Lafayette Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Westminster Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-2.

Lafayette Christian Academy has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Episcopal of Acadiana on the 18th. As for Westminster Academy, they will take on New Iberia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
