Softball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

If Highlands was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Valley on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Rams lost 7-0 to the Knoch Knights on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Rams in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Knoch, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Coming up, Highlands will head out on the road to take on Indiana at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Knoch, they will head out to square off against Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
