Soccer Recap: May River Comes Up Short

May River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Cane Bay Cobras who were credited with the win. The Cane Bay Cobras got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the May River Sharks' three.

Madeline Baker and Brooke Dalton scored all three of May River's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

May River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cane Bay, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

May River wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Colleton County on the 14th. As for Cane Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Philip Simmons on the 13th.
