Basketball Recap: Anthony Andrews Takes a Loss

Anthony Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 113-75 loss at the hands of the Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial Huskies. The Storm were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 61-38.

Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial found their leader in sophomore Gavin Edwards, who posted 40 points. The contest was Edwards' sixth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezra Kava, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.

Anthony Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Anthony Andrews has already played their next matchup, a 90-77 win against Aniguiin on the 15th. As for Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 115-68 victory against Anthony Andrews on the 16th.
