Eastern Greene gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Brown County Eagles with a sharp 11-3 victory. The Thunderbirds not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1, 2024 (when they won 18-3).

Eastern Greene wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against Wood Memorial on the 11th. As for Brown County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-9 loss against Waldron on the 12th.
